Katrina Gorry and Sam Kerr have taken out the Football Federation Australia Player of the Year and U20 Player of the Year Awards, respectively.

For Matilda Gorry, the award is the latest recognition for a stellar year after the 22 year old was named the 2014 AFC Player of the Year in November at the AFC Annual Awards held in Manila.

The Brisbane Roar midfielder led Australia's scoring in the Asian Cup and finished as the second best player of the tournament in Australia' silver medal winning run.

Gorry also voted as the TWG Supporters Player of the Year and featured highly in our Top 10 moments of 2014.

It is the first time she has won the award.
