Perth Glory look set to announce the signings of Matildas trio Sam Kerr, Alanna Kennedy and Mackenzie Arnold for the 2014 W-League season.
The trio would be the latest additions to the West Australian team, following the announcement of Canadian defender Shelina Zadorsky last week, as coach Jamie Harnwell rebuilds for a return to the W-League finals.
The anticipated return of Perth native Kerr would be a big coup for the Glory.
Kerr, who was a foundation player for Perth before playing two seasons with Sydney FC, is highly regarded as one of the top attacking talents in Australia.
Currently playing for the Western New York Flash, the 20 year old leads the Flash in goals scored (8) and is among the top goal scorers in the National Women's Soccer League.
Her addition would be a boost to a forward line that already contains Kate Gill (Australian all time leading international goalscorer) and Rosie Sutton.
Capped 21 times for the Matildas and a member of the 2014 silver medal winning Asian Cup team, Alanna Kennedy is another welcome signing for the Glory.
The 19 year old, who has played for Sydney FC, Newcastle Jets and Western Sydney Wanderers, has the versatility to play as a centre back (as with the Matildas and Wanderers) with Shelina Zadorsky or defensive midfielder (as with Sydney FC) with a midfield containing Collette McCallum.
Meanwhile 20 year old goalkeeper Mackenzie Arnold returns to the club that saw her breakthrough nationally.
Since appearing for the Glory back in 2011/12 season, Arnold has gone on to receive 2 senior Matildas caps as well as the 2012/13 W-League Goalkeeper of the Year award.
The custodian had a season to forget with the Western Sydney Wanderers as first a freak injury and then form (Dimi Poulos' good form and Arnold's indifferent form) keeping her to just 3 appearances with the Wanderers.
Rumours are also abound that the Glory might also captured a fourth Matildas player and lured Sydney FC's Caitlin Foord out west.

If Perth Glory add the Matildas quartet to a squad that is set to contain Matildas Gill and McCallum as well as seasoned W-League performers Marianna Tabain, Elisa D'Ovidio and Bronwyn Studman, then would certainly be in contention for the finals.
