Australian Head Coach Hesterine de Reus has named a 23 player squad to face World No. 6 Brazil on 6 and 9 April in Brisbane.

The squad sees the bulk of the Cyprus Cup squad retained with few additions including Western Sydney Wanderers goalkeeper Mackenzie Arnold, Newcastle Jets' striker Rhali Dobson and Sydney FC's Amy Harrison with the latter two in line to make their international debuts.

W-League grand finalists the Brisbane Roar continue to make up the majority of the squad with eight representatives while long time No.1 Lydia Williams, Sam Kerr (both WNY Flash) and Caitlin Foord are all unavailable due to NWSL club commitments.

This series is the last chance for players to press their claim for a place in the Asian Cup squad which is due to be announced later this month.

The Matildas kick off their series on Sunday, 6 April 2014 on ABC TV from 3.00pm (AEST).
